This page exists for the skeptic. Below is what we actually do, how we calculate it, what we’ve published, and what we refuse to do.
We’re not predictors. We’re not advisors. We’re not SEBI-registered.
What we are: a research and education platform that applies Vedic Jyotish — a discipline India built over five millennia for timing decisions — to today’s Indian markets. We compute classical chart elements (planetary positions, dashas, yogas) using Swiss Ephemeris with Lahiri ayanamsa, map them to NSE/BSE sectors, and publish analyses with reproducible chart inputs.
Everything below is what that means in practice — including the events we read incorrectly.
Every analysis starts from classical chart elements computed with the same ephemeris professional Jyotish practitioners use. We publish what we use.
Sidereal longitudes of all nine Vedic planets — Sun through Ketu — computed with Swiss Ephemeris using Lahiri ayanamsa correction. Classical Jyotish requires sidereal, not tropical, positions; we use what the texts ask for.
Every NSE and BSE sector maps to one or more planets per classical sources — Saturn rules metals, Mercury rules IT, Sun rules energy. A planet’s transit and dignity tell us which sectors are favoured or stressed in a given window. Source: BPHS, Phaladeepika sector tables.
Vimshottari Dasha breaks a life into nested planetary periods, from years down to weeks. Timing is what Jyotish does well; price prediction is what it doesn’t. Source: BPHS dasha chapters.
Classical chart configurations — Dhana, Gajakesari, Lakshmi, Raja — signal periods of unusual financial alignment when activated by transit or dasha. Source: BPHS yoga chapters and Phaladeepika.
D1 reads overall life direction. D9 (Navamsa) shows hidden wealth conditions. D10 (Dasamsa) maps career and earned income. Different questions read off different layers. Source: BPHS divisional charts.
Analyses are tuned for NSE Nifty 50, BSE Sensex, Bank Nifty, MCX Gold/Silver, and USD/INR. IST throughout. The ephemeris is universal; the application is local — that’s where most generic astrology tools fail.
Each post in the Cosmic Archive carries its publish timestamp and the chart we read. Different sectors, different planetary configurations — not cherry-picked confirmations.
COMEX gold hit $4,604 and MCX gold ₹1,41,847/10g on Jan 13, 2026. The Jupiter-Rahu conjunction in Gemini activates expansion (Jupiter) and unusual demand (Rahu) on a metal Jupiter classically associates with. We read the configuration through the chart and published the full analysis the same week.
Read the analysis → Equity · Feb 2026On Feb 3, 2026 Mars completed its retrograde phase in Cancer — a debilitated position for the planet that rules energy and aggression. The Nifty 50 fell 2.21% to 25,727 the same day. We documented the transit-event correspondence with the full chart for the trading session.
Read the analysis → Crude · April 2026WTI Crude surged 89% from January to April 2026, with MCX Crude at ₹10,451/bbl. Mars turning direct in Leo — its friendly sign — coincided with the leg up. Mars is the classical ruler of energy and combustible commodities; we connected the transit to the price action in a full chart breakdown.
