AstroCapitalX ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information when you use astrocapitalx.brainguru.in ("the Platform"). We comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

1. Information We Collect

• Account data: Name, email address, phone number, password (hashed).
• Birth chart data: Date, time and place of birth (for astrological analysis). This is provided voluntarily.
• Payment data: Handled by Razorpay. We do not store card details.
• Usage data: Pages visited, signals viewed, session timestamps, device info, IP address.
• Communication data: Support queries, contact form submissions.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide personalised astrological signals and birth chart analysis.
• To process subscription payments and manage your account.
• To send service notifications, daily signals and newsletter (with your consent).
• To improve our platform, signals and user experience.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Razorpay - payment processing.
• AWS/Oracle Cloud - hosting infrastructure.
• Twilio - WhatsApp notifications (with your consent).
• Legal authorities when required by Indian law.

4. Data Retention

Account data: retained while your account is active + 3 years after deletion. Birth chart data: retained until you delete your account. Payment records: 7 years (as required by Indian law). Voice call recordings: 90 days from the session end, then auto-deleted.

4.5 Voice Call Recordings

When you initiate a voice call with an astrologer on AstroCapitalX, the call is recorded with your explicit consent (captured as a checkbox before each call). Recordings are stored by our call provider (Daily.co) in cloud infrastructure within the Asia-Pacific region. Only AstroCapitalX support staff have access to recordings, and only for quality assurance, refund dispute resolution, or fraud investigation. Recordings are automatically deleted 90 days after the session ends. You may request a copy of your own recording, or early deletion of it, by emailing support@astrocapitalx.com. You can decline the consent before any call — declining means the call cannot proceed, but no recording or call is made.

• Right to access your personal data.
• Right to correct inaccurate data.
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten").
• Right to withdraw consent for marketing.
• Right to nominate a representative in case of incapacity.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security: bcrypt password hashing, HTTPS/TLS encryption, JWT authentication, MariaDB with access controls. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong password and do not share your credentials.

7. Cookies

We use session cookies (essential) and analytics cookies (with consent). You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work correctly.

8. Children's Privacy

AstroCapitalX is not intended for persons under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we discover such data has been collected, we will delete it immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. We will notify you by email or via the platform for material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
